Gewurztraminer 2015 Clos Saint Landelin - Bio
Slightly sweet, fruity, wide. - AOC Alsace Grand Cru Vorbourg
Dry and mineral
Delivery Throughout the E.U.
Sheltered by the highest peaks of the Vosges mountains, this terroir receives an exceptional amount of sunshine. The mainly limestone subsoil ensures good drainage. The exposure of the hillsides goes from east to south-west. In 2005 the INAO (Institut National des Appellations d’Origine) acknowledge the denomination « Côte de Rouffach » as a communal appellation.
Tasting Notes:
With its fruity nose marked by notes of lemon, peaches and orange, this Riesling Côte de Rouffach is delicate and silky. Its freshness makes it a perfect match for oysters, grilled fish or a nice Alsatian Sauerkraut!
«Beutifully aromatic, featuring lots of mineral and honey on the nose and palate, along with flavors of poached quince, sliced almond, star fruit and fleur de sel. Statuesque and framed by firm acidity, this is light-to medium-bodied, with an intense, mineral-driven finish. Drink now through 2030. A.N» Wine Spectator Insider - October 22018
