The dry hills of Rouffach are remarkable by their clay and limestone soil and mediterranean micro-climat with specific flora. Among this particular plants, there is a lot of wild orchids. The gewurztraminer fits well into this sunny terroir. This place is refreshed by night winds coming down from the Grand Ballon and the Petit Ballon
Average age of vines : 40 years
Vinification : Maceration of 10 days. Fermentation in native yeasts and ageing on fine lees.
Harvest : By hand in 20 kg boxes.
